The Latin Mass Society of Ireland, founded in 1999, is an association of Catholic faithful dedicated to the preservation of the "ancient form of the Roman rite" as a legitimate usage of the Church's liturgy. The society is composed predominantly of lay members drawn from every age group and walk of life, but also includes a number of priests who minister to all who "continue to adhere with great love and affection to the earlier liturgical forms"

Archbishop Raymond Burke to Visit Cork

The following events will take place at St. Peter & Paul's Church, Cork, on July 10th to 12th to mark the visit to Cork of Archbishop Raymond Burke. Saturday 10th July: 7.30 pm: Pontifical Vespers.  9.00 p.m.: Organ Recital by Thomas Lacote, Titular Organist at Bruges Cathedral.  Sunday 11th July: 11.00 a.m.: Pontifical High Mass.  Monday 12th July: 12.30 p.m.: Pontifical High Mass.
